Congratulations to Celest Marie Joseph on her graduation from The University of Central Florida in Orlando, Florida on Saturday August 7th! Celest graduated Cum Laude from the College of Biomedical Science-Pre-Vet, and also received a degree in Biology. She will be attending Ross Veterinary Medical School on the Island of St. Kitts, starting in January of 2022. She states that she has always wanted to be a Veterinarian. She loves pets and has had several throughout her life.
Celest is one of the youth Nicaragua Medical Mission volunteers. She started volunteering with the mission at the age of 9 and continued until she started college. She enjoyed working with the volunteer group with Vacation Bible School and as a teen she enjoyed painting and refurbishing the walls of the Children’s Cancer Hospital “La Mascota”. She relates that during her interview for acceptance to the Veterinary Program, the interviewers were impressed with the volunteer program and her participation as a volunteer.
Congratulations Celest! We are very proud of you. God bless you on your journey.
